Signs › Perforated Window Graphic×Close
An empty storefront window

Empty, in the exact proportions of the size you typed in. Put your artwork on it and you see it before you order.

Perforated Window Graphic

Printed and delivered in Charlotte

A full-color graphic across the whole window that your customers can still see out of. The film is punched through with thousands of small holes — from the street your eye fills the gaps and the print reads solid, and from a desk or a table inside you are looking straight out through it.

It is the one for a window you are not willing to block. You get the whole pane as a sign and keep the daylight, the view and the people watching the street.

See it before you order. Put your design on it right here and look at it at the size it prints. Once you order, our team goes over the artwork — and if we spot something that will not print right, we come to you with the fix.

Each price below is the price of your cling, finished, at the size you typed in. Change the size and they all change with it.

60/40 perf. Sixty percent of the sheet is printed and forty percent is open holes — the balance that keeps the print strong from the street and the view clear from the inside.

Printed full color, edge to edge, at high resolution. Rated for outdoors, and it goes on the outside of the glass where the print faces the street.

It works best with light behind it. A window with a bright room behind it fights the print; a normal shop or office interior is exactly right.

Width

Height

Or type your own — up to 58 inches wide, any height. Measure the glass, not the artwork; we fit it to the pane.

Perforated film goes on the outside of the glass. That is what makes the print read from the street and the view work from the inside. It arrives ready to go up.

Straight cut, square corners. Perforated film is cut to the pane, not to a shape — the holes are what do the work, and they need the whole window to do it.

Type in how many you need. Doing every window in the row? Put the count in and every price on this page moves with it.

Final steps

You hear from us the whole way through. You get a confirmation the moment you order, and our team goes over your artwork. If we find something that will not print right, we tell you what it is and how to fix it — before it goes anywhere. Once it is placed you get a second message with your timeframe, and then updates as it moves: in the shop, on the press, and out for delivery.
Ready in 10 to 14 days. Every one of these is made to order, not pulled off a shelf. It gets designed, checked, printed and delivered — and that takes the time it takes.

We bring it to you anywhere in the Charlotte metro. Free over $150, otherwise a flat $15.

We install in Charlotte too. If you would rather not do the glass yourself, say so and we will put it up. Tell us the window and we will come back to you on what it takes.

Have the idea in your head but not on a file? That is fine — this is what we do. Tell us what you are picturing and we will build it for you. Already have your design? Upload it below and we print exactly what you sent.

Bring your finished design and upload it here. PDF, PNG, JPG or SVG, the biggest version you have. It lands on the cling on the left so you can see it at your size before you commit to anything.

If it is not big enough to print at this size we tell you first, and it costs you nothing to find out.

What you are getting

A sheet of 60/40 perforated window film with your artwork printed across it in full color, trimmed square to the size you gave us, with adhesive on the back. It goes on the outside of the glass, print facing the street.

It is UV safe and rated for weather, which is the part that matters on a window that takes full sun. A print that is not UV rated goes flat and pink in one summer; this one does not.

What comes with it

  • Full color printing across the whole sheet, right to the edges.
  • Matte or gloss, your pick, at the same price.
  • Cut square to your size — straight cut, trimmed to the numbers you gave us.
  • Free local delivery over $150 anywhere in the Charlotte metro, and we install in Charlotte if you want it done for you.

What 60/40 means

The sheet is 60 percent printed material and 40 percent holes. That is the ratio that holds a print together at a distance while still letting a person inside see through it.

From the streetYour eye cannot resolve the holes from a few feet back, so it fills them in. The graphic reads as a solid, full-color sign across the whole pane.
From insideYou are close to the film and looking through it at a brighter outside, so the holes win and the print falls away. The window still works like a window.
At nightIt flips. With the lights on inside and the street dark, the print goes faint from outside and the view in gets clearer. Worth knowing before you put it on a bar window.

Sizes

Any size up to 58 inches wide, and as long as you need. Most storefront panes take a 24 × 36 comfortably; a door usually wants 18 × 24.

Measure the glass and give us that. We fit the artwork to the pane so you can see how much breathing room it has before anything prints.

Anything under 12 inches on the short side ships rolled rather than flat.

Cleaning it

Wipe it gently, and do not go at it with a pressure washer or a scraper. The holes will hold a little dust over time; a soft cloth and clean water is all it takes.

Putting it up

Or let us do it. We install in Charlotte — ask and we will come out, clean the glass and put it up square. If you are doing it yourself, take your time on these three:

  • Clean the glass and let it dry. Anything left on the glass shows through, and dust is what stops vinyl sticking.
  • Start at one edge and smooth across with a squeegee or the flat of your hand, working the air out ahead of you as you go.
  • This is permanent adhesive. It is meant to stay put, so it does not reposition well once it is down. Line it up before you commit, and if it is a big pane, get a second pair of hands.

Where it goes

Storefront glass, a front door, a window somebody is sitting at. Anywhere you want the whole pane working as a sign and still want to see out of it.

It is also the one for vehicle rear windows — a van, a truck, a shop car. Full graphic on the glass, and the driver still has a rear view.
