Work wear

The pieces a service floor actually wears. Prices cover the garment, one decoration location and your written proof, and they are estimates to work from — design, shipping outside the metro and tax are quoted separately. Charlotte delivery is free. Twelve piece minimum — sizes and colours mix freely inside it.

Staff names on their aprons

Let your staff know we can add their name to their apron if they’d like — and because you order with us, they get a company discount. Have them text (980) 250-0071 with their name and where they work (it helps us follow your brand guidelines).

BYOD

Bring your own design.

You know BYOB. This is the other one. We print designs — and it doesn’t much matter who drew them. Already have your artwork? Send it with your order and we run it. Only have a rough one? Send it anyway and we’ll rebuild it properly. No logo yet? We’ll design you one — just ask.

Files we accept: .ai · .eps · .svg · .pdf · .psd · .png — vector is best.

What you’re actually paying for

Prints that hold their colour instead of going muddy at the third wash. Your mark laid out properly on the garment — position, size, colour — and a written proof before a single thing is made. And we drive it to you. Order the same shirts online and you pay shipping on every box; across the Charlotte metro ours is free, every time.

Head wear

For the places that make everyone wear one. Embroidered or printed — both look sharp and both are yours to pick. Stitching gives you that raised, tailored front panel. Printing gives you full colour and gradients a needle cannot hold.

Merch

A logo on a shirt is a uniform. A line worth repeating is a billboard somebody paid you for and then wore to the grocery store. We write the line as well as print it — that part is the design studio, and it’s included.

Printed, engraved or stitched — and why it matters

These are not the same thing and nobody ever explains the difference before they take your money. Here it is, plainly, so you pick on purpose.

Engraving is one tone, and that is the look.

We are not printing onto the cup, we are removing material from it. What you see is the steel under the powder coat, or the stone under the polish. One tone, razor sharp, and it will outlive the cup. For a logo it reads expensive. Want full colour on a hard good? We print those too — and colour filled engraving puts your brand colour down inside the mark.

Want colour and permanence?

Colour fill. We engrave the recess deeper, lay flat brand colour into it, and wipe the surface clean. The colour sits below the surface, so there is no edge to catch and nothing to peel. It is the only way to get your actual brand colours onto glass or steel and keep them there.

Full colour costs nothing extra on fabric.

Screen printers charge a setup for every colour in your logo. We don’t. A three-colour mark with a gradient prices exactly the same as a one-colour mark, at twelve pieces or at five hundred. If somebody has been telling you to simplify your logo to save money, they were telling you about their press, not about your brand.

If you don’t see it, ask.

This page lists what we can quote instantly. It is not the limit of what we make. Uniforms, merch, glassware, packaging — if you can describe it, we can usually build it and put your mark on it properly. The list grows every time somebody asks for something we hadn’t thought of.

Packaging

The only thing on this page a restaurant buys every single month. A sign goes up once. Boxes, bags, cups and stickers go out the door with every order — which makes packaging the cheapest advertising you will ever buy, because the customer carries it home for you.

Why packaging is quoted and everything else isn’t.

Plate and die charges move with size, colours and substrate. Send us what you need and you’ll have a real figure back the same day.

The setup is once, not every time.

The plate charge lands on your first run. Reorders skip it.

Questions we get asked

What is the minimum order for custom restaurant uniforms?

Twelve pieces on apparel, with a $95 order minimum overall. Sizes and colours mix freely inside the twelve — four smalls, six mediums and two extra-larges is one order of twelve, not three orders.

How much do custom t-shirts cost in Charlotte?

$28 each at a dozen, $24 at twenty-five, $20 at fifty, $17 at a hundred and $15 at a hundred and fifty. That covers full colour printing and free Charlotte delivery, and full colour costs no more than one colour. Design is quoted separately. Those are estimates to plan from — shipping outside the metro and tax are confirmed in your written quote.

Does laser engraving come off?

No. Engraving removes material rather than adding it, so there is no ink, film or vinyl on the surface to lift, scratch or wash away. The trade-off is that engraving is a single tone — if you need your exact brand colours we either print in full colour or fill the engraving with colour.

Do you do embroidery?

Yes, on polos, caps, chef coats and premium aprons. Digitizing your logo into a stitch file is a one-time $65, free on orders over $500, and the file is yours to keep.

How long does an order take?

Seven to ten days from proof approval. Rush under five days is quoted separately — it depends on blank stock and who we have to order from.

Can you match what we already have?

Usually. Send a photo of the current uniform and we will identify the garment or find the closest equivalent, so new hires don’t stand out from the staff you already dressed.

Do you deliver outside Charlotte?

Free delivery is the Charlotte metro, because we drive it ourselves. We work with restaurants nationwide, and outside the metro shipping is quoted with your order.

What if you don’t list what I want?

Ask. This page lists what we can price instantly, not the limit of what we make. Beanies, bandanas, cutting boards, growlers, bar mats, uniforms for a whole hotel — send the request and you get a real number back.
