What does the design studio make?

Menus, table tents, cards and flyers, cups and packaging, glassware and bar supplies, boxes and bags, labels, window graphics, A-frames, feather flags, banners, vehicle wraps, uniforms, aprons, caps and merch. All of it drawn out of your brand book so it matches.

Do I have to have branding with you first?

No. Plenty of people come to us with the branding already settled. If the logo is right and the colors are set, we work inside what you already have and leave alone the part that is working.

Do you print what you design?

We can. Printing is handled in house by Pink Elephant Prints, our own print company. You can also take the print-ready files to your own printer — they are yours either way.

Print-ready files set for the machine, the layered vector originals, web and screen versions, and every format the job needs so nothing has to be redrawn later.

The bench

A logo that breaks on the machine isn’t finished.

We draw the product with the file, not after it.

Dielines and dimensions

We draw straight onto the printer’s dieline — a 16oz can wrap, a tri-fold menu, a box that has to fold. The type still sits square after it is cut, folded and wrapped.

Color, set for the machine

A screen makes color out of light. A press makes it out of ink. We set your green for each one, so it is the same green on the window as it is on the can.

Material and feel

The weight of the stock. How a thick stitch sits in heavy canvas. How deep the etch has to go before condensation hides it.

Menus

One of the most important deliverables.

A good menu has a clear visual hierarchy. It’s easy to read and descriptive without overdoing it. Each detail helps the guest find what they want and feel ready to order.

Think of your menu as a steak cooked to perfection.

Rare is unfinished and underseasoned — the food has to sell itself. Medium rare has plenty of flavor, but the layout is still a little messy. Medium is where we want to be: the right balance, enough taste to let the food do the talking. Medium well is when you start overdoing it — like taking this analogy one step too far.

Your menu is your mouthpiece.
